Set Yourself Up for Success in 2022
History has taught us that new year’s resolutions are often dominated by health goals, that often end in failure. But don’t be too quick to dismiss the idea of a successful new year, a YouGov 2020 poll in the UK found that 25% of people manage to stay on track throughout 2020. With a little bit of proper planning and preparation, you could easily be one of those in the 25%!
We live in a fast-paced world that demands fast results and are guilty of wanting that for ourselves too. When it comes to health and nutrition, focus on the basics and trust the process.
Here are some realistic ideas to help you settle on some achievable goals for 2022:
- Strive for a balanced, wholesome diet daily
- Drink more water – 2 litres per day
- Aim to eat breakfast every day
- Aim to eat 5 portions of fruit and vegetable every day
- Eat breakfast every day
- Switch to diet or zero-calorie soda
- Limit alcohol
- Swap whole milk or full cream for semi or skim options
- Switch to whole-grain bread, pasta. rice
Here are some things to avoid:

- Specific weight loss
